Standing with Giants return to Waddesdon Manor with their D-Day 1,476 – For Your Tomorrow installation. This installation of 1,476 silhouettes, set withing the grounds of Waddesdon Manor, commemorates the 1,476 lives lost on 6th June 1944 under British command on D-Day. Standing with Giants is a community-based project which looks to raise understanding and appreciation of our freedom and to remember and pay tributes to those who gave their lives so we could live ours today.
