After our usual comfort stop, we make our way to Wroxham where we board the Bure Valley Railway for a 45-minute steam train ride on this 15-inch gauge railway to the historic town of Aylsham.

This 9-mile trip runs through the pretty Bure Valley countryside following the meandering River Bure through meadowland and ancient pasture. On arrival at the Whistlestop Café at the station in Aylsham we enjoy a 2-course Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, a choice of desserts, tea and coffee and a warm mince pie. Please state any dietary requirements at time of booking as these cannot be made on the day or less than 7 days prior to the trip. The station at Aylsham is transformed with festive decorations and completely different to what you see in the summer. After lunch we board the train for the return journey to Wroxham where we rejoin our coach and head for home.
