Join us once again at the Tereza Joanne, a moored boat in London’s Royal Docks, a unique and very enjoyable venue with attentive staff, reasonably priced drinks, good food and great views across the Royal Docks and London City Airport.

The venue is warm in the winter and cool in the summer and there is an outdoor lounge plus the viewing platform on the top deck. The first course of the 2-course lunch will be served shortly after arriving at the Tereza Joanne. Once the main course is out of the way, the Sounds of the Musicals, a new show for 2026 begins. This is a brilliant, fun-filled show bringing together the glitz and glamour of the West End and Broadway’s biggest smash hits performed by stars of the West End, Jason Allen and Miranda Richards. The begins with favourites from shows like West Side Story, 42nd Street, Les Misérables and Mary Poppins and gets you out of your seats with floor fillers from Rocky Horror, Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You, Jersey Boys, Dirty Dancing and Tina the Musical. During the show, there will be an interval where the dessert will be served with tea/coffee. The bar will be open throughout the afternoon with draft beers and lagers, wines by the bottle and glass, spirits, soft drinks and the house speciality – flavoured gins served in cut crystal style goldfish bowl glasses on long stems. Leaving around 3.30pm we head for home ahead of the rush hour traffic.

LUNCH MENU: For main course choose between free range chicken confit, or vegetarian Wellington, served with potatoes sauteed with thyme and a medley of carrots & greens (gf). For dessert choose between tarte au citron with fresh cream or chocolate and orange tart with optional cream. Please state your menu choice any dietary requirements at time of booking.

PLEASE NOTE: On boarding the coach you will be given a card with your menu choice you made at time of booking. On the Tereza Joanne, all food is prepared fresh and cooked to order, so please do NOT change your menu choice or make a dietary request on the day. If you do you may be subjected to a charge of around £25, payable on the day.

FIRST PICK-UP: Halstead 8.55am. Back in Dunmow around 4.45pm.
