RHINE VALLEY HOUSE PARTY

Since we introduced these House Party tours, they have become very popular and have proved to be an enjoyable break during what is traditionally a bleak time of year. Our House Party for 2012 is on the famous Rhine Valley, based in Boppard at the stylish 4 star Best Western Bellevue Hotel. Combine the wonderful German food, the great German welcome and the scenic Rhine and Moselle Valleys, with their vineyards, castles and charming villages and you have the perfect destination for a house party.
ISLE OF WIGHT - Wight around the UK

Lying just off England’s south coast, the Isle of Wight is a separate world, enjoying one of the country’s sunniest and warmest climates. With almost half the island designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with some stunning unspoilt scenery; it is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday, at any time of year. Based in Shanklin, this is a tour with a difference as it will transport you to all corners of the UK as you sample flavours of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland from the comfort of our dinning room chair.
ST AGNES - Cornish Coast & Gardens

Always a popular tour when it appears in our brochure, thanks to the hospitality at our hotel, the stunning Cornish coastal scenery and magnificent gardens. This tour is based at the Rosemundy House Hotel, situated in the attractive little village of St. Agnes, tucked away on the north Cornish coast at the heart of a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This is an ideal location from which to explore the coastal scenery of the Cornish coast with its attractive historic harbours and villages and to visit some of the noted gardens here in Cornwall. Many of England’s very best gardens can be found here, with plants, flowers and trees flourishing in the mild coastal climate, making Cornwall the ‘Garden Capital of the World’.
MALVERN FLOWER SHOW & Historic Severn Valley
5 days Monday 7th – Friday 11th May
Step back in time and explore the fascinating history of the beautiful Severn Valley. Our tour includes a journey on the Severn Valley Heritage Railway, visits to the wide variety of museums at the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage site, the Acton Scott Working Farm which has featured in several television programmes and the Malvern Spring Gardening Show.
IRELAND – Killarney & the Cliffs of Moher

Warm hospitality, musical vitality and a history of storytelling are just some of the many appealing sides of Ireland. Add to that spectacular scenery, from the green rolling countryside that gives the Emerald Isle its name, to the inspiring coastline that has been carved over millions of years and you will find it hard not join us on our tour to Ireland. Our Irish tour for 2012 is based at the Woodlands House Hotel in Adare, Ireland’s prettiest village.
PITLOCHRY– the Scottish Highlands
8 days Sunday 22nd – Sunday 29th July
This wonderful tour, based at the Dundarach Hotel, combines all the very best that Scotland has to offer – magnificent scenery, good food and great Highland hospitality. Thanks to the warm welcome from the Smail family, owners of the hotel and the stunning Highlands scenery, this is always a popular tour. Pitlochry is one of the most beautiful little towns in the Highlands, once a quiet weaving village, with the coming of the railway it became a popular place to visit and stay. Today Pitlochry is still a popular place, set in the Perthshire hills, in the geographical centre of Scotland, it is an ideal centre from which to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the surrounding mountains, lochs and moors.
SWITZERLAND - the Bernese Oberland

Towering mountains, sparkling glaciers, serene lakes and beautiful green pastures make Switzerland one of Europe’s most spectacular holiday destinations. The historic Hotel Paxmontana featured in this tour never fails to impress with its distinctive Art Nouveau style, and dramatic location, sitting on a plateau with magnificent views onto Lake Sarnersee and surrounding mountains. This great location is the perfect base from which to explore and enjoy the beautiful Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland.
BIDEFORD and North Devon

A thriving market town and port with an active fishing industry, Bideford has been welcoming visitors for centuries and is perfectly located to explore the beautiful rugged coastline, sandy beaches and rolling countryside of North Devon and the wild moorland of Exmoor.
SCARBOROUGH – Yorkshire moors autumn tints
5 days Sunday 14th – Thursday 18th October
Originally a fishing port, Scarborough became Britain’s first seaside town after its waters were deemed to have medicinal powers in the 17th century. Known as the ‘Queen of the Yorkshire Coast’, it is as popular now as in its Victorian heyday, boasting dramatic cliffs and castle headland, award winning beaches, historic harbour and a booming town centre. Nearby, the North York Moors National Park, home to the largest area of unbroken wild heather moorland in England provides a beautiful contrast with spectacular views.
LITTLECOTE HOUSE & Bath Christmas Market
5 days Monday 26th - Friday 30th November
One of our Warner Leisure “Turkey & Tinsel” breaks, offering a relaxing, complete adult only holiday. Littlecote House, on the borders of the Cotswolds, is a superb Grade 1 listed 16th century Tudor mansion in a spectacular setting. Hosting Tudor monarchs, Civil War captains and Regency nobles and an occasional friendly ghost, it was here that Henry VIII courted Jane Seymour. During the week we visit the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath and its famous Christmas Market and enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Cotswolds.
