Includes return travel by luxury coach, free time in Woodbridge and Aldeburgh and fish and chip lunch in Dunwich.
We begin the day with a visit to the town of Woodbridge before continuing onto Dunwich. Once a bustling city and the unofficial capital of East Anglia, today thanks to coastal erosion, Dunwich is nothing more than a colection of houses and is the setting for the famed Flora Tea Rooms. It is here where we enjoy one of their excelent fish and chip lunches. This afternoon we make our way across Dunwich Heath via Thorpeness to Aldeburgh. This seaside town has a particular charm with its unspoilt sea front where little has changed since Victorian times. Famed as the home of the composer Benjamin Britten, its music festival and the seashel sculpture The Scalop.
LUNCH MENU:Choice of cod, haddock, plaice OR a choice of ham, cheese, prawn or scampi salad all served with chips along with bread and butter and tea/coffee.
