Join us at the Tereza-Joanne, a moored boat in London’s Royal Docks for a new show in 2024. This moored boat is an unusual and very enjoyable venue with great views across the Royal Docks and Docklands and City Skyline, attentive staff, and reasonably priced board drinks. Imagine if you could take the Big Band Sound add in some authentic vintage sound of a 1920’s speakeasy, the tinkling piano of the Palm Court Tea Dance and the iconic drama of a James Bond opening number and you get The Tiny Big Band Tea Dance. Uncle and niece duo PJ & Rose join us at the Tereza-Joanne for a very entertaining afternoon. It’s a Tea Dance with a mix of strict tempo, jazz and swing you can dance to. There are classics from the 20’s to 50’s with some more recent pop hits. It promises to be great fun, joyful and uplifting. If you want to get up and dance then do so, if not then this is an entertaining show to sit and watch. On arriving around midday, savoury canapes will be served before the first half of the show and in the interval there’s an impressive three tier Afternoon Tea with porcelain tea pots and English Rose bone china cups and saucers. Leaving around 3.30pm we head for home ahead of the rush hour traffic.
