We called in here last year after our festive lunch on the Bure Valley Railway and people asked if we could call again, so here we are. Located on the outskirts of Norwich, the Highway Garden Centre, a member of the Roys family, spans a vast site, it’s a one-stop shop for all your gardening, gifting, dining, and homeware desires, and that’s not all! First make your way through the garden centre teeming with all the essentials you’ll need for the garden. On the other side of the garden centre is the expansive plant area and nursery where you will find bedding plants, feature plants and even fruit trees. Then make your way into the departments store, full of homeware, garden furniture, fashions, gifts and much more. All that shopping is sure to work up an appetite, a restaurant and café are attached to the department store, serving hot and cold drinks, light lunches, generous carvery, and sweet treats. For a change of scenery our return journey will be via Diss and Bury St. Edmunds, so we start our drop offs in Halstead.
