Includes return travel by luxury coach, entrance in Belvoir Castle and cream tea.
Belvoir Castle, pronounced ‘beaver castle’, is the ancestral home of the Duke of Rutland, where the family have lived in an unbroken line for almost a thousand years, and one of the locations where the popular TV series The Crown was filmed. Crowning a hill, the Castle’s turrets and towers rise over the Vale of Belvoir like an illustration in a romantic fairy tale. This is the four castle to have stood on this spot since 1067 and is said by experts to be one of the finest examples of Regency architecture in the country. Discover its spectacular interiors, including the lavish bedroom suites and magnificent state rooms with extravagant decorations and a remarkable collection of art and antiques. Wander outside and explore the lovingly restored Capability Brown designed gardens and the onsite Engine Yard Shopping Village, home to a garden centre, farm shop and bistro. A cream tea will be served during your visit.
